Cara and Charlie can bring a toned down version of a Treacherous French show to your brewery, winery, coffee house, basement, or restaurant!

The Treacherous French are an eclectic folk rock band hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area. The full band is Charlie on vocals and guitar, Phil on bass, Olivier on accordion and piano, and Cara on vocals and percussion.

However, sometimes smaller venues ask us to play but don’t have space for a full band or are looking for something more acoustic. And, sometimes Cara likes the opportunity to get out from behind the drumset and be up front playing the washboard or guitar. And, sometimes the full band just isn’t available all at the same time. To solve all of these dilemmas, Charlie and Cara decided to pursue a side project and go back to their roots as a duo - The Treacherous Two.

They still play many of the same songs The Treacherous French are known for - catchy, complex, and heartfelt original and cover songs rooted in the band’s eclectic style. But the duo gives Charlie and Cara freedom to experiment with new twists on their original songs and on a wide range of cover songs (even sometimes indulging in their shared love of 90s hip hop). Who knows, maybe the next big Treacherous French hit will be tested on a Treacherous Two audience soon?
